Obama leads way in key states

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/09/19/presidential-polls-obama-romney-wisconsin-virginia-colorado_n_1896148.html?utm_hp_ref=elections-2012

This is an interesting article that portrays the emergence of Obama as the poll leader in two key swing states (Wisconsin and Virgina) and predicted to emerge as the leader in the Colorado polls as well. I cannot help but equate that some of this sudden spike in Obama approval has to have something to do with the video of Romney last week where he bashes many welfare/government assisted voters in states, such as Wisconsin, with very high levels of poverty despite jobs in the state.

Paul Ryan to visit Virginia on Wednesday the 19th

(Image found at catholicvote.com)
Vice Presidential candidate Paul Ryan will be campaigning in Virginia Wednesday the 19th. He will be speaking at a rally at Piedmont Precision Machine in Danville. Danville is an independent city in the south central area of the state bordering North Carolina. This is the third visit to Virginia in a week for the Romney campaign. The Obama campaign has also stopped in Virginia recently with First Lady Michelle Obama there last Thursday and the President planning a visit for Friday.  President Obama won the city of Danville in the 2008 election against opponent John McCain 59%-40%. http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/virginia-politics/post/paul-ryan-to-campaign-in-danville-va/2012/09/17/f349cdae-0107-11e2-b260-32f4a8db9b7e_blog.html
